On the seventh day of Paris Fashion Week, Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton unveiled the brand’s fall-winter 2017 collection. The collection juxtaposed hard and soft by opening with leather dresses and coats featuring baseball style stitching.

Sleeveless coats and turtleneck sweaters brought a sense of minimalism to the embroidered designs. Burton cited inspiration from Cornwall focusing on tapestry-inspired patchwork as well as rustic style fringe and fraying. For evening wear, Burton offered up sheer gowns decorated with metallic embroidery and feathers.
